Route

Day 1: Nice/Savona 16:00

Savona is the capital of the Province of Savona, in the Riviera di Ponente on the Mediterranean Sea.
Nowadays, the city revolves around the port and fortress Priamar which is the authentic symbol of Savona.
Inhabited in ancient times by Ligures tribes, it came under Roman influence in c. 180 BC, after the Punic wars in which the city had been allied to Carthage. At the fall of the Western Roman Empire, it passed under Lombard rule in 641 (being destroyed in the attack) after a short period as an Ostrogoth and then Byzantine possession. Later it recovered as county seat in the Carolingian Empire.
After a long struggle against the Saracens, Savona acquired independence in the 11th century becoming a free municipality. Subsequently, after a short alliance, it fought Genoa before being definitively conquered in 1528. It then shared the fortunes of the Republic of Genoa until Napoleonic times, and subsequent annexation to the Kingdom of Sardinia-Piedmont (1815).

Day 2: Barcelona 13:00 – 18:00

Barcelona has found the perfect balance between sea and mountains: one foot set in traditions and the other set in the avant-garde. at the same time both rebellious and traditionalist, both elegant and proletarian, it is the Spanish city which has most renewed itself in the last few years.
Art, architecture, good food and nightlife are just some of the attractions of this splendid city. The overlap of different architectural styles in the last three centuries has made the city an authentic open air museum in perfect balance between tradition and modernity.
Barcelona is famous for the architectural works of Gaudì, the eccentric and genial architect: one must visit his Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, La Pedrera (Casa Milà) and Casa Battlò. A walk in its streets is like going over the different artistic and urban planning concepts in the history of architecture. The extraordinary cultural offer and the infinite possibilities for shopping have turned it into one of the most emerging European destinations, especially in the last 10 years. It’s not by chance, therefore, that in the last five years visits for tourism have surpassed those for business.

Day 4: Casablanca 08:30 – 22:30

The city full of unscrupulous spies that we know from the legendary Humphrey Bogart’s movie does not exist, in the contrary …  Casablanca is in fact a very modern metropolis conducted successfully by entrepreneurs who have invested heavily in the artificial port which is currently one of the largest and most dynamic of all Africa. If you are looking for a complete visit of Casablanca, do not  miss the Corniche, a scenic coastal road which crosses the rich district of Anfa, with its pools hidden among the rocks overhanging the sea and a multitude of restaurants, coffee and nightclubs which are an crucial part of the sparkling nightlife of this part of town.

Day 6: Lanzarote 08:00 – 17:00

Аpproximately 125 km off the coast of Africa and 1,000 km from the Iberian Peninsula this Spanish island, is the easternmost of the autonomous Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean. It owes its spectacular beauty to the variety of its landscapes.

Day 7: Santa Cruz de Tenerife 07:30 – 16:00

It has all the characteristics of a Spanish town but it has also retained many traces of the domination and cultural influences that it has encountered, while becoming a sort of monument to urban well-being, tranquility and joie de vivre. It is the capital of the island and the province that bears its name and includes the islands of La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro. It is a quiet and very friendly, almost confidential city, but if you know how to unleash yourself at right time and place, you would be able to enjoy the shimmering spectacle that Santa Cruz de Tenerife has to offer.

Day 8: Funchal 07:30 – 17:00

Madeira, land of contrasts !!!…. Funchal comes from the word funcho, meaning fennel in Portuguese. Funchal is the capital of the island of Madeira, an autonomous region of Portugal comprising the islands of the archipelago. With its neighbouring boroughs (municipalities) of Camara de Lobos, Santa Cruz, Machico and Ribeira Brava the town has over 150,000 inhabitants. It is the most populous Portuguese city outside mainland Portugal. The Funchal conurbation includes the cities of Funchal, Câmara de Lobos, Caniço and Santa Cruz, all on the south side of Madeira.
Funchal lies in a natural “amphitheatre”, with gentle slopes beginning at the harbour and rising almost 1200 metres. This provides a natural shelter that attracted the first settlers. Funchal is a cosmopolitan and panoramic city, with parks, shops and hotels. If you look at the size of Madeira, you can hardly imagine that this island has so much to offer! From many historical monuments, squares and streets in the capital of Funchal to enchanting gardens, picturesque villages, amazing landscapes, impressive volcanic caves, rugged coast lines, beautiful natural beaches and, last but not least, breathtaking views, there is so much to see that you will soon realize that one visit to Madeira just isn’t enough!
